UNCG Rugby Workout, 2/17/10

Warmup: 800m Run, 20 Walking Lunges, 20 Situps, 20 Supermans, 20 Backwards Walking Lunges

Strength: 4 sets of 8 each leg DB Lunges.

Metabolic Conditioning: 10 Rounds with 1 minute rest between rounds of {5 burpees & 100m sprint}

This drill probably looks familiar, but it is being performed by the British and Irish Lions.

  1. Lunges: 30#30#40#45#

    WOD: 15:33 including rest time. Might have taken longer rests at one end of the field due to no watch anymore. Counting while breathing hard is not easy. Great workout though, very rugby like.
