UNCG Rugby Workout, 2/14/11

A special workout that I am sure that all of you will love. It was a tough loss this weekend, but that means nothing in the matrix season! It is time to get to do work.

Warmup: 20 Inch Worms, 20 Situps, 20 Squats, 60 Second Plank

Metabolic Conditioning: As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of {10 DB Hang Clean 35#, 20 pushups, 800m Run}.

The video is of Jon North, an athlete who works under Coach Glenn Pendlay. Glenn was the instructor for my USA Weightlifting Level 1 Cert this weekend where I PR’d on my squat clean & jerk at 120kg. It is a long way from being a great lift, but it is progress.
