UNCG Rugby Workout, 1/3/11

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a safe and happy celebration. This is a huge year for UNCG Rugby taking on a higher division. It is time that UNCG established itself as an ongoing force in North Carolina rugby. So let’s get the preparations started.

Warmup: 2 rounds of {10 lunges each leg, 10 overhead squats with bar, 10 snatch grip behind the neck shoulder press with bar, 10 front squat with bar, 10 push press with bar}

Strength: 3 sets of 10 Overhead Squat with 2 minutes rest between sets. 4 supersets of 8 Alt DB Incline Bench Press (4 each arm) & 8 Chinups

Metabolic Conditioning: 6 Rounds for time of {75# Overhead Squat & 200m run}
