UNCG Rugby Workout, 12/14/10

Warmup: 3 Rounds {10 Squats, 10 Pushups, 10 Lunges with a twist over the front leg, 10 V-Situps, 10 Back Extensions}

Strength: 5 sets of 5 Deadlifts @ 80% 1RM. 4 sets of 8 BB Bent Row.

Metabolic Conditioning: As many man makers as possible in 10 minutes.

Post loads and times to comments. Push hard because tomorrow there is no workout.

  1. dead lift 135-185-225-255-285
    think i need to work on my dead lift. felt to much in my back. tried lowering my butt, but then i didnt feel tension in my hamstrings.

    rows 135-185×3

    man makers (aka murder) 20# 20 reps
    coordination became hard at the end as i got tired. bc it was only 10 min i went all out in the start and my have burnt out to quickly. very happy with my number

  2. Deadlift: #275, 285, 295, 305, 305

    BB Row: #115, 115, 125, 135

    WOD: 36 Man Makers. Felt pretty good throughout the whole workout. Focused on keeping a good pace and making sure form was tight, im pretty stoked about the number.
